Angela brings 22 years of public sector experience, with 18 years dedicated to education, specialising in Human Resources. She was most recently at Director level within a large multi-academy trust in the East of England, where she plays a key role in shaping people strategy and organisational development.

Beyond her immediate roles, Angela actively contributes to the wider education sector through leading and participating in a number of national HR networks, sharing expertise and supporting collaboration across schools and trusts.

Angela has served for over three years at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Ipswich, including the most recent years as Chair of Governors. During this time, she has provided strong and effective governance, supporting the school through its Ofsted inspection, where it was recognised that “Leaders, the trust and governors incisively evaluate school performance… They hold leaders to account but also support them.” This reflects Angela’s commitment to providing both robust challenge and constructive support in equal measure.

She is deeply passionate about Catholic education and is committed to ensuring that faith, formation and academic excellence remain at the heart of all decision-making, enabling every child and member of staff to flourish.

Caroline Clarke is the Trust Lead SENDCo for Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic MAT, with over 33 years of experience in education. Her career has included roles such as teacher, SENDCo, headteacher, inspector and educational trainer. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Speech Sciences, an Advanced Certificate in Autism in Children, and the National SEND Accreditation, reflecting her longstanding commitment to supporting pupils with SEND.

In her current role, Caroline provides strategic leadership for SEND across the Trust, working with schools, SENDCos and governors to ensure high-quality provision and inclusive opportunities for all pupils. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, walking with her dog, sewing and crafts, and is actively involved in her local church community.
